So You Think You Can Dance’s Mark Kanemura gives a great interview
November 5, 2008
SYTYCD’s Mark Kanemura recently gave a great interview to Connecticut’s the Day newspapers. Here’s a highlight in response to a question about the grueling making of the show:
“It really was. Not only physically, but surprisingly a lot of it was so much more mentally challenging. It was like that from the first experience, back to the L.A. auditions, you get in there and you see thousands of dancers and you have to tell yourself you’re capable of doing something like this. You see how amazing everyone is and you begin to doubt yourself. And then you are constantly being judged and you have to stay strong in the game. One awesome thing I took away from it is it pushes you so much past what you think you are capable of.”
Here a link to the whole interview.
Kanemura gave the interview when he was in town for a performance at CT’s MGM Grand Theater At Foxwoods. The SYTYCD tour continues to make its way around New England and the East Coast.
